Event: (Antarctica – 18th December 2014): The drive back from the South Pole is proving every bit as exciting and emotional for the Antarctica2 tractor expedition team as, hour by hour, they tick off the distance home.
Event: (Antarctica 17th December 2014): With the Antarctica2 tractor expedition now on the home-straight, back from the South Pole, the relative comforts of Novo Runway on the coast are tantalisingly close for the team.
Event: (Antarctica - 16th December 2014): The Massey Ferguson MF 5610 tractor being driven by Tractor Girl Manon Ossevoort and the team on the Antarctica2 expedition is now back on course for its return journey from the South Pole to Novo Runway, after having a new fan belt fitted.
Event: (Antarctica - 14th December 2014): Adverse weather and the need for time to catch up on maintenance has slowed the Antarctica2 expedition’s advance to Novo Runway.

But the latest big challenge is a dense ice-fog which has dramatically reduced visibility.

(9-10 December 2014, Antarctica) The drivers and support crew behind ‘Tractor Girl’ Manon Ossevoort’s successful attempt to travel to the South Pole aboard a Massey Ferguson MF 5610 tractor have been recovering from their exertions, as they prepare for the return journey ahead.
Event: (Antarctica2 – 04.30 hrs CET, 09 December 2014: Geographical South Pole) After a gruelling 2500 km ice-journey, the Antarctica2 expedition team arrived with its MF 5610 tractor at the South Pole today. All are safe, well and in high spirits.
